Dr. Meredith has known since she was a child that veterinary medicine was her calling. She pursued this passion by earning her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Sydney University and later deepened her expertise with a Master of Veterinary Clinical Studies from Murdoch University. Her advanced studies covered a range of areas including Radiology, Clinical Pathology, Dermatology, and Endocrinology, giving her a well-rounded approach to animal care.
Her special interest lies in ultrasonography, a skill she honed through an intensive year-long training program at the Centre for Veterinary Education. Meredith loves that ultrasound offers a non-invasive way to get to the root of health problems, helping pets heal with less stress and discomfort.
At home, Meredith enjoys life with her beloved Border Terrier, Alice, who keeps her active and entertained. Having been part of the Weston Creek Veterinary Hospital team for 25 years, Meredith treasures the variety of cases she sees every day and the strong bonds she builds with the Canberra community. For her, no two days are the same — and that’s what makes her job so rewarding.
