Veterinarian
Dr. Karen’s journey to becoming a veterinarian began at just ten years old, when she rescued a dog named Maggie. That life-changing moment sparked a lifelong devotion to animals and set her on a path fueled by compassion and curiosity. Her deep love for wildlife led her to explore the world as a marine biologist before ultimately fulfilling her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Today, Dr. Karen is passionate about strengthening the animal–human bond and providing exceptional care to every patient she meets. She has a special soft spot for cats and exotic pets, and she understands that each animal has their own unique personality and needs.
To Dr. Karen, being a veterinarian means embodying compassion, trust, and genuine care. As a pet owner herself, she knows how important it is to feel heard and supported. She prides herself on being patient, empathetic, and always ready to help—whether it’s a routine check-up or a moment of concern.
The most rewarding part of her work? Seeing beloved pets regain their health and happiness. There’s nothing more fulfilling to her than helping animals thrive and supporting the people who love them.
Dr. Karen’s first cat, Obi—a sweet tabby adopted from a shelter—will always hold a special place in her heart. Though Obi has since passed, he remains a cherished reminder of why she chose this path. She has also cared for exotic pets over the years, further enriching her experience and understanding of diverse species.
For Dr. Karen, veterinary medicine isn’t just a career—it’s a calling. She feels grateful every day to do what she loves: caring for animals and the people who treasure them.
