While our regular clinic hours are designed to meet a wide range of health needs, some situations require immediate care — even outside of standard hours.

What Happens During a Pet Emergency?
For pets brought to us during business hours with urgent or critical medical needs, our goal is to stabilise your pet and keep them as comfortable as possible during treatment.
Our experienced team of veterinarians and veterinary nurses work quickly to, assess and stabilise your pet determining cause through diagnostics and monitoring. We then provide supportive and targeted therapy that may include intravenous fluids, heat or cooling therapies, oxygen therapy, Medications including pain relief, anti-inflammatories, corticosteroids (for shock), or medications targeting heart and lung function.
We will keep you informed every step of the way — updating you on your pet’s progress, treatment costs, and any next steps required.
When Referral is Needed
Sometimes, pets with critical or unstable conditions may need continuous care and monitoring beyond our clinic hours. In these cases, we may refer your pet to one of the Emergency Centres. So, they can provide;
Referral ensures that your pet receives the highest level of care around the clock, giving them the best possible chance at recovery.
